Citizens Advice Worthing is holding a Volunteering Open Day
Tuesday March 5th, 2019, 10am

The team at Citizens Advice Worthing is holding a special event for people to find out more about volunteering at the service. We are inviting people to meet volunteers and staff at a special presentation, taking place at Worthing Town Hall on Tuesday, March 5th, 2019 from 10am. You will be able to find out about what volunteering for Citizens Advice entails, the huge impact of the team’s work, all about training and support, and much more.

Volunteers and staff at Citizens Advice Worthing helped nearly 4,500 local people last year*, giving often life-changing advice on benefits, debt, housing, employment and much more.

Kim Holborn, Volunteer Recruitment Team Leader, said:

‘Volunteering for us makes an invaluable difference to local people and to the community. Our volunteers tell us that, as well as gaining invaluable skills and experience, it helps keep them mentally active, and to make some wonderful new friends. We’re looking forward to meeting potential volunteers at our Open Day and encourage anyone interested to come along and ask questions!’
