We are looking for an exceptional Finance Manager to join our exceptional team! This role will bring the opportunity to shape our organisation into the future and exciting years ahead. We help over 30,000 clients each year in West Sussex. The Finance Manager is responsible for overall management of the finance function across our organisation in West Sussex. The role involves the preparation of accurate, timely and appropriate financial information for the Board and senior management team, together with delivery of financial procedures to ensure smooth delivery of services and efficient use of resources, reporting into the CEO.
You will lead a small finance team who also support the finance function, ensuring that the organisation in line with current legislation and good practice, as well as supporting senior management in the planning and delivery of the charity’s objectives.
You will hold a recognised accountancy qualification, with excellent financial accounting skills and experience of providing support and collaborating with other teams. You will have sound knowledge and experience of statutory accounts preparation, financial modelling and ability to prepare costs and budgets for new business bids and submissions. Ideally you will have experience with the charity or public sector.
We will consider part time applications for this role, the location is flexible across west Sussex, you will receive 25 days paid annual leave, company sick pay, and an opportunity to continue to develop in your role.
