Come to our open day on Friday 4th March from 10am-1pm. Drop in and find out more about the Lancing Information Hub and the exciting voluntary opportunities we have available.
Lancing Information Hub, which is part of Central & South Sussex Citizens Advice, is looking for volunteers. There are a number of roles available all at hours that can fit in with you.
The Hub based at Lancing Parish Hall helps people in Lancing get the free advice they need using a variety of ways. Our Information Assistants help the public using the hub, find the guidance they need for any problems they are facing and help to them to access the internet to get self-help information. Our telephone Gateway Assessors take calls from the public seeking advice in Lancing and the rest of Sussex, guiding or directing people to the help they need to solve a problem. Lastly our webchatters and emailers help people online with their issues.
These roles help to develop all sorts of skills, so if you are a parent looking to get back into work, a student looking for work experience or someone who just wants to learn something new, then we will have the volunteer role for you. Volunteering at Citizens Advice means you are accessing our renowned high quality training, full travel expenses are paid and free parking is supplied.
