Macmillan Welfare and Benefits Advisor
We are recruiting a Macmillan Welfare Benefits Advisor with experience of casework to join our team helping cancer patients cope with the financial impact of cancer. You will use your specialist knowledge to maximise income for patients, applying for benefits and grants, challenge incorrect decisions and represent at Social Security Tribunals. You will have excellent communication skills and able to breakdown complex information for different audiences, able to work independently but also as a team player. Whilst this is predominantly a face to face service based in hospital outreach locations you will also deliver through other digital channels and able to use IT and case management systems remotely.
A trainee would be considered for this role based on existing experience, salary would be reflective.
