Last night, we hosted our Lung Cancer Awareness Event. We would like to thank everyone who attended the event and our marvellous speakers who we couldn’t of done it without.

We hope the session has increased your knowledge around lung cancer and left you feeling more confident to spot the symptoms and share the information you learned with your family, friends and community.

In the event, we covered:

  • An introduction to our project
  • A speech from a lung cancer specialist consultant/GP
  • A lung cancer survivor shared his story
  • What you can do to help
  • Q&A with our speakers

You can also learn more about lung cancer from the NHS, Cancer Research and Macmillan.

Click here to order a booklet from Macmillan to understand all about Lung Cancer,

If you experience any of the symptoms covered, contact your GP. It’s probably not serious but it could be a warning.

Many thanks again to those who joined us and we hope to see you again in the future.
