Our Communications team met with Horsham and Crawley Samaritans and West Sussex Mind to discuss how we could partner up and work together.

Crawley and Horsham Samaritans office is located on Dene Road, Horsham. They provide a service every day of the year for anyone that needs a confidential, non-judgmental space to talk, no matter what time of the day or night.

West Sussex Mind supports local people who are struggling with their mental health, offers specialist training to parents of children and young people and to businesses, and campaigns to improve services and understanding.

Citizens Advice in West Sussex and Samaritans both aim to take care of residents and provide them with information and support to essentially improve their lives.

We will be working together to promote awareness of what to do if you are struggling and signposting each other’s services as a reminder to our clients that there is help available.

With the winter months moving in and the added cost of living pressures, it’s an easy time for our clients to feel worried, stressed and like there is no escape. That’s why strengthening our partnership is important to ensure people know they are not alone.

If you are feeling overwhelmed and everything is a bit too much, the Samaritans are a listening ear to support you. To access support, you can call their free national helpline on 116 123.
