Citizens Advice West Sussex are gathering insight into domestic abuse support amongst diverse communities in Crawley.

The aims of our project are to:

  • Understand the attitudes and experiences of those who have accessed or would like to access domestic abuse support in Crawley
  • Uncover barriers which prevent people in the local community from accessing domestic abuse support
  • Identify what type of support the local community would engage with and would like to see developed

This research will help us understand experiences of the local community in Crawley, allow us to produce a report, build an evidence base of needs, and make recommendations.

If you or someone you know has been subject to domestic abuse and would like to contribute to the research you can access the online survey by clicking here.

We are holding in person focus groups and 1 to 1 interviews. If you would like to be a part of the in-person research session, you can sign up for them by registering here.

We really value any suggestions, comments or recommendations that you may have as we want to understand the needs of the local community and create support services which are designed for and by them. Please do not hesitate to contact: community.engagement@westsussexcab.org.uk
