We are concerned to have learnt about local residents being called by someone impersonating Citizens Advice services. WE DO NOT COLD CALL CLIENTS.
We are certain this call did not come from our service, we wouldn’t ask for sensitive or personal information and we always ask for consent before contacting anyone.
If you have been contacted, we would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to report this incident to Action Fraud Police who can be contacted by filling out their online form or by telephone: 0300 123 2040.
Reporting to Action Fraud is an important step in addressing the growing problem of scams (unfortunately we are unable to report this on your behalf).
